Adrian Robson Adrian Robson was a lecturer in the School of Computing, Engineering and Information Sciences at the University of Northumbria until July 2010. His teaching included real-time software development, operating systems and computer networks. He had a particular interest in embedded real-time software and object oriented programming. He was a member of the University's High Integrity Real Time Systems research group.

Before Adrian arrived at the University of Northumbria, he was a Systems Programming Manager with International Paints PLC, and then a Research Associate in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. He moved to the University of Northumbria in 1987.

He is still fascinated by computers and programming, and continues to spend much of his time at a keyboard.
